Research

The scientific aim of the Kavli Institute of Nanoscience Delft is to explore the frontiers of science on the nanometer-scale. We aim to reveal new physics and to exploit novel principles in devices with new functionality. The nanostructures we study vary from superconductors to biomolecules and are fabricated with bottom-up methods (starting with atoms or molecules) or top-down techniques (such as electron-beam lithography).
